1. Examination & Diagnosis
Our experienced pediatric dentists will thoroughly examine your child’s teeth using advanced diagnostic tools such as digital X-rays. This step helps us identify cavities or areas of decay that need treatment.
2. Gentle Numbing & Preparation
To ensure a comfortable experience, we apply a safe, local anesthetic to numb the affected area. Our team takes extra care to explain each step to your child in a friendly and reassuring manner.
3. Removing the Decay
The decayed portion of the tooth is carefully removed using specialized dental instruments. Our minimally invasive approach preserves as much healthy tooth structure as possible.
4. Filling Placement
Once the cavity is cleaned, we place a durable, tooth-colored composite filling to restore the tooth’s shape and function. Composite fillings blend naturally with the tooth, providing both aesthetic and structural benefits.
5. Polishing & Bite Adjustment
After placing the filling, we polish the tooth and check the bite alignment to ensure a comfortable fit. Any necessary adjustments are made to prevent discomfort.
6. Aftercare & Preventive Guidance
Before your child leaves, we provide easy-to-follow aftercare instructions to promote healing and prevent future cavities. Our dentists will also share tips on proper brushing, flossing, and dietary habits to maintain a healthy smile.
